Biography

I have been involved in real estate most of my life. I began working in residential construction at the age of 15. Over the years this lead to an extensive construction background as a carpenter and general contractor.

After earning an Urban Land Economics Diploma from the University of British Columbia in 1998, I began my career as a residential real estate appraiser and over the years have completed over 10,000 residential appraisals, having completed residential appraisals from Hope to Whistler and everywhere in between. I currently hold the Canadian Residential Appraiser (CRA) designation with the Appraisal Institute of Canada.

I have an extensive knowledge of all areas of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. I know what to look for and avoid when making decisions with single family and multi family residences, from construction to accurately assessing market values.

As a result of my background in construction, as an appraiser and a realtor I have built up a personal relationship with many quality home inspectors, mortgage lenders, contractors and sub-trades.
